Chandigarh recorded a maximum of 35.4 degrees Celsius, according to the MeT Department. Amritsar and Ludhiana in Punjab recorded a maximum temperature of 34.6 degrees Celsius and Patiala 35 degrees Celsius. In Haryana, Ambala recorded a temperature of 36.3 degrees Celsius and Hisar 34 degrees Celsius
