Andhra-Assam orchards smelling of Etah s oranges and seasonal, special demand for Pakistani lemons

Even though Etah does not produce fruits like orange and seasonal, but the aroma of the plants being prepared here is smelling the orchards up to Andhra Pradesh, Assam. Nursery is flourishing in three villages of Jalesar tehsil area. Where people prepare seedlings by bringing seeds from Himachal Pradesh, which are sent to some districts and other provinces of the state. 

This nursery business has spread to hundreds of bighas of farms in Manigarhi, Paydapur and Kothi villages of Jalesar region. About 60 nurseries are being operated, with which hundreds of people are connected. These people buy sour seeds from Himachal Pradesh and bring them. After planting here, the crafting of orange, seasonal, kinnow and lemon is done on it. It takes two to two and a half years for this plant to be ready. After the seedlings are ready, they are sent to Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Punjab apart from some districts of the state through trucks. Villagers say that mainly this work is done in Maharashtra, but due to the cost of plants there, the demand has increased here.

Special demand for Pakistani lemon Apart from orange, seasonal, kinnow, there is a special demand for the Pakistani lemon plant being prepared here. Gardener Kripal Singh says that he started this work about three years ago. The specialty of this plant is that it starts giving fruits within one and a half months. The production is also higher on smaller plants. Whereas it takes two-and-a-half-three years to bear fruit on a native plant.

The villagers engaged in the work of nursery nursery, which are increasing generation after generation , do not know when and how this work started.
