Cricketball: Developed in 2011. It is famously known as Calcutta Large, large round fruit, grainy flesh, and not much sweet.
Kalipatti: Released in 2011. High yielding and good quality variety, egg shaped fruits and contains less seeds i.e. 1-4 seeds per fruit.
Chhatri: Low quality as compared with kaali patti variety, high yielding variety.
Calcutta special: It is late maturing variety. It has big sized fruits, round shape and brown in color. The lower part is somewhat flat and upper head is round. Peel is thick and flesh is light brown in color and is aromatic.
Kirtibarthi: It has small sized and egg shaped fruits. 4-6 strips are there on fruit peel. Peel is rough and medium thick. Matured fruits are very juicy.
PKM-3 (Guthi X Cricket ball): The fruits bear in bunches.
DHS-1 (Kalipatti X Cricket ball): It has round shape and large sized fruits.
DHS-2 (Kalipatti X Cricket ball): It has large sized and long shape fruits.
Other state varieties:
Dhola Diwani: Good quality yield having egg shaped fruits.
Baramasi: In northern India, it is popular variety, round and medium shape fruit, 12 months yield giving variety.
Pot Sapota: Fruiting starts in the pot, small fruit which is egg shaped and having a sharp top, fruit is very sweet and aromatic.
Calcutta Round, Pala, Vavi Valsa, Pilipatti, Murabba, Baharu, and Gandhevi are also the varieties grown in other states.
