According to the Meteorological Department, there will be rains in Punjab on August 30, 31 and September 1. There is no chance of damage with this rain. The forecast for the rains is not harmful, says Surinder Pal, director of the weather department.
He said that the alert for rainfall is in Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Jalandhar, Ropar and Patiala areas. He said that the level of rainfall would be light compared to that rained on August 17. So there is no risk.
