According to the information received from the local people, Noor Jahan mango is of Afghan origin and it is cultivated only in the Kathiwada area of ​​Alirajpur district adjoining the Gujarat border, which is about 250 km from Indore. A farmer cultivating mangoes from Kathiwada says that three Noorjahan mango trees have produced 250 mangoes in my garden . 

Their price ranges from Rs.500 to Rs. 1000 per piece between Rs. These mangoes have already been booked by the people of Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. He also told that this time the weight of a mango of Noor Jahan will be between 2 to 3.5 kg. According to the experts of Noorjahan mango cultivation, this time the variety has been good, but the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the business.

For information, let us tell you that the Nur Jahan variety of mango trees start flowering in January-February. Along with this, they start giving fruits in the month of June. Noorjahan mango can grow up to a foot tall. Its kernels weigh about 150 to 200 grams.
