Farmers and gardeners will now get nano urea fertilizer in the bottle

June 09 2021

Farmers and gardeners in Himachal Pradesh will now also get liquid nano urea fertilizer. Now in the fields and gardens, instead of sacks of urea, liquid manure will be supplied in bottles. Instead of 40 kg sack, now 500 ml i.e. half liter liquid fertilizer will be available in bottle. Where a 40 kg sack is used in one acre of land, similarly a bottle of nano urea mixed with 215 liters of water will also be poured on one acre of land. This will not only increase the crop yield, avoid pollution and also reduce the freight cost of the government and farmers. Within a month, farmers and gardeners will also start getting liquid urea fertilizers.

IFFCO supplies urea fertilizer to the state every year about 42 thousand tonnes. IFFCO Regional Officer Vishal Sharma informed that a total of 312 successful trials of Nano Urea have been conducted in the field including Agriculture and Horticulture Universities of Himachal Pradesh. Pleasant results have also come to the fore. The supply of nano urea will be started to the farmers and gardeners of the state within a month. Seven percent additional crop can be obtained from this urea.

Plants will get 55 percent more

only 30 percent of the manure of the sack is available to the plants, while the bottled i.e. nano urea gets up to 85 percent of the plants. 45 kg urea is applied in one acre. Presently urea is also imported from abroad. Using nano urea will also reduce dependence on foreign urea.

Government will not be burdened with subsidy

40 kg sack of manure falls to the government for Rs 1,100, which is given to the gardeners and farmers on subsidy for only Rs 266.50. That is, the government has a loss of Rs 833. The government will get half a liter of nano urea for Rs 240 and the same amount will be charged from farmers and gardeners.
