Collector took meeting of officials related to agriculture

Collector Doman Singh took a meeting of officials associated with the Department of Agriculture. He instructed all the construction agency to ensure lift according to the prepared vermi compost target as discussed earlier in the meeting. Collector Singh instructed to prepare a district level plantation action plan for planting saplings in the monsoon 2021 as directed by the Chief Secretary. He instructed to send the information in the prescribed form in the open premises, schools, colleges, oganbadi centers, hospital complexes etc. of private sector / private sector and government offices of the district to the forest officer within three days. Chief Executive Officer, District Panchayat Akash Chhikara, Forest Officer, Pankaj Rajput and officials of the concerned department were present in the meeting.

The collector said that the progressive Gothan of the district should be completed soon so that the cattle rearers of the district get the benefit of the scheme. He said that this scheme is the flagship scheme of the state government. The intention of the government is that cattle rearers should get the benefit of this scheme. He said that good work of this scheme is going on in the district. He expected more hard work from the officers and employees. The collector inquired about the payment of beneficiaries for the purchase of cow dung. He said that the government departments instructed to pay the vermi compost fertilizer purchased soon and asked to lift the vermi compost manure as per the demand.

Forest Officer Pankaj Rajput said that plantation work has to be done during the rainy season. For which private, public, private sector as well as government departments should send the location information in the prescribed form according to their respective places. He said that large trees of adequate height and good quality shade will be provided according to the need and demand. He informed that the plantation will be done under the technical guidance of the officials of the Forest and Agriculture Department. The concerned departments and institutions will be responsible for the maintenance and maintenance of the plants.

Deputy Director Agriculture SR Dongre said that so far 1,87,179 quintal dung has been procured from 7,996 active herders in Gothan. Out of which 15,272.42 quintal vermi compost manure has been made so far. Out of which 10,641.52 quintal of manure has been sold. Vermi compost is 4,405.95 quintals left. It was informed in the meeting that till May 18, 1,81,785 quintals were demanded by private organizations, progressive farmers and government departments. Out of which 10,641 quintals have been demanded by the concerned departments and private organizations.
