Tips for Coriander Cultivation

The best time of sowing coriander is the October’s first week for green leaves harvesting, but if you need to do seed production then the best time of sowing is October’s last week to November’s first week.

1. You can use 8 to 10 kg of seed per acre.

2. Always use healthy and disease free seeds.

3. Break the seeds into 2 to 4 parts by rubbing it gently. Use Thiram to treat the seed (for 1 kg of seed use 2.5 gram of Thiram).

4. Use “Pora” method to sow within rows at a distance of 30 cm.
