Apples of Kamarughati in Delhi and Chandigarh mandis

Apples from Kamrughati in Mandi district have created a buzz in the mandis of Delhi and Chandigarh. Royal and Red Golden apples have hit a boom at the start of the season. Royal apple A grade is sold from 15 hundred to 32 hundred rupees and B grade 8 hundred to 12 hundred rupees in Chandigarh. Red golden A grade is sold from 1 thousand to 12 hundred rupees and B grade 6 hundred to 8 hundred rupees per box.

Among the traders, Hansraj and Ramesh Thakur said that the apples affected by the hail were sold from 500 to 15 hundred per box. Told that he has bought dozens of orchards in Kamrughati and apple grading machine is being prepared. In Shimla packing, the apple going in the carton is being sold fast.

Traders said that even in Corona, good trends are being received from the mandis. Among the gardeners, Chandramani, Dhameshwar, Devi Ram, Parama Ram, Narayan Das, Devendra Kumar, Yashwant, Hansraj, Labh Singh and Rajiv Thakur told that the prices of apples would be so good during the Corona period, the gardeners did not expect it. 

BK Thakur, head of Nachan Fruit Growers Association, said that the apple season is at its puberty in the area. He said that the gardeners would not be allowed to face any kind of inconvenience. Here the garden subject matter expert Dr. Chintaram Thakur has confirmed the start of the season.
