New Kufri Sangam Variety of Potato
Research on this variety has been done in Modipuram of Meerut for about 12 years. Its testing at the all-India level has met the standards at 14 centers. After this, it has been prepared for the farmers. According to agricultural scientist, this variety is going to be ready in 100 days. Also good for production.
Disease resistant variety
This variety has high disease resistance capacity. It has more ability to tolerate the late scorching disease . The special thing is that farmers are being given seeds produced by testing. This variety will give more production than Kufri Chipsona, Kufri Bahar, Frisona. This variety has been considered particularly useful for 8 states of the country.
It includes names of Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh, Haryana and Punjab. It can be sown in the northern plain in the second fortnight of October. Apart from this, you can do it in the central ground from the first fortnight of October to November.
