Good news for UP farmers, Yogi government will soon buy wheat on MSP, read the rules

There is a big news for UP farmers, because soon wheat will be procured from farmers. In fact, it has been informed by the state government that wheat will be purchased directly from farmers from April 1 to 15 at the minimum support price ( MSP ) under the Rabi season crop . UP government ( UP Government ) has decided to announce that this year s wheat MSP at Rs 1,975 per quintal.

Registration will have to be done to sell wheat

The Food Commissioner says that to sell wheat to farmers, it will be mandatory to first go to the website of the Food and Logistics Department and get registration (Registration For Selling Wheat). This registration has been started. If the farmers want, they can also register themselves or go to the Public Facilitation Center and register.

Purchase Centers

This year, about 6 thousand centers have been set up for the purchase of wheat , where wheat will be procured. The opening hours of these procurement centers will be from 9 am to 6 pm in the evening. During this time, farmers can reach and sell their wheat crop easily.

Online token system for selling wheat

For the convenience of farmers, online tokens have also been arranged. As per their convenience, farmers can take tokens to sell wheat at the procurement center. In the meantime, remote sensing of procurement centers is being done through the application center, so that farmers do not have problems. Apart from this, procurement will be done through Electronic Point of Purchase for transparency in the purchase of wheat. Not only this, the thumb of the peasants will also be installed.

If the farmer cannot go to the buying center to sell wheat himself, he can also send it to another member of his family. Whichever member will be nominated by the farmer, it should be mandatory in the registration. With this, the basis of that member will also be certified.

Rules for saving more wheat

If the farmer has to sell more than 100 quintals of wheat, then the Deputy District Magistrate will do the verification of the village and sharecroppers under consolidation. If wheat is not being procured from the farmer, the farmer can appeal to the committee constituted under the chairmanship of the Regional Marketing Officer working at the tehsil level.
