Farmer agitation aggravated by cold, farmers standing on road amid falling temperature

Delhi is in the grip of the cold wave, yet the farmers, who are opposing the Agricultural Laws of the Center on the Delhi border , are firm with their demands . The mercury fell by 3.4 degrees Celsius on Sunday in the city, which is the lowest temperature so far this season. An official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said the minimum temperature at Safdarjung Observatory on Sunday morning was 3.4 degrees Celsius, five degrees below normal, while the maximum temperature is likely to be 22 degrees Celsius.

It has been four weeks since the farmers started the movement and due to this, the route of traffic has been changed at many points along the border, due to which the passengers are facing inconvenience. Ever since the Kisan agitation started, the Delhi Traffic Police has been continuously tweeting and giving information about road closures and alternative routes to the passengers.

The Delhi Traffic Police said on Twitter on Sunday that the Tikri and Dhansa border is closed for traffic and the Jhatikara border is open only to two-wheelers and pedestrians. Delhi Traffic Police said that Jhadoda, Daurala, Kapashera, Badusarai, Rajokri NH 8, Bijwasan / Bajgheda, Palam Vihar and Dundahera border are open for people going to Haryana.

According to the traffic police, Ghazipur border is closed from Noida and Ghaziabad to Delhi. The traffic police said that people coming to Delhi can adopt alternative routes of Anand Vihar, DND, Apsara and Bhopura border. The shout border between Delhi and Noida is open from one side only and the road to Delhi from Noida is closed. Traffic police said, Singhu, Auchandi, Piau Maniyari, Sabholi and Mangesh border are closed. Please use Lumpur, Safiabad and Singhu school toll tax border. Traffic has been diverted from Mukarba and GTK Road.
