Agriculture University will prepare new workers in agriculture sector

Jawaharlal Nehru Agricultural University has taken initiative to make the youth self-reliant. These days, he is preparing the youth who have started new work in agriculture, and are preparing them for the difficulties faced in the agriculture sector. Not only this, he is also being introduced to the research and experience of the University. For this, Agricultural University has selected youth from all over the country. They are also being given online training by the university. For two months, they will be aware of every information related to the agricultural sector.

The Institute of Agribusiness Management of Jawaharlal Nehru Agricultural University has started a scheme called Jawahar Rabi, which aims to bring forward young startups in the field of agriculture. Under this, ideas were sought from youngsters who started in agriculture in the country. There were 151 ideas in this. The university s selection committee selected 22 startups. They were trained in the university by agricultural experts for 60 days and then sent to Delhi for financial support from the Union Ministry of Agriculture, where everyone gave presentations. Out of this, 12 have been selected.

Dr. SB Nahatkar, director of the Institute of Agribusiness Management, said that when the startup youth presented their presentation to the selection committee of the Ministry of Agriculture, they not only appreciated them but also gave them financial help. The Ministry of Agriculture has given a fund of about 88 lakh rupees to 12 youth. 5 lakh to a startup and 15 lakh to someone has helped. The special thing is that this amount is not even returned to the youth.
