Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana is going to organize Alumni Meet on 30th April, 2022. The event will start at 11:00 a.m. at Pal Auditorium, PAU. Dr. Sarvpreet Singh Ghuman, Dean, College of Veterinary Science and Convener of Alumni Meet said that this time the university is organizing a joint meet of all the colleges. He said that alumni of Veterinary Science College along with alumni of College of Fisheries, College of Dairy Science and Technology and College of Animal Biotechnology would also participate in the function.
Dr. Ghuman said that due to Corona no alumni meet has been held in any of the colleges since 2019 and now a joint function is being organized by the entire university. He said that the students who have graduated from this university are serving in Animal Husbandry Department, Fisheries Department, Dairy Development Board, Cooperative Department, Universities and many other institutions. He said that the alumni were performing well not only in Punjab or India but also abroad. These alumni, who live in different places, want to meet their old friends and share old memories.
He informed that in this day-long function alumni would showcase their talents. They would also take part in various recreational fun games. A colorful cultural program will also be presented by the students of GADVASU.
Dr. Inderjeet Singh, Vice-Chancellor said that Alumni Meet is a wonderful rendezvous to meet. At the same time we realise how we started and how we achieved the different milestones in our path. We also get encouragement and advice to innovate in the future. He hoped that a large number of alumni would come to his institution and enjoy the day to the fullest. He personally urged that on April 30, 2022, the alumni must take time out of their busy schedule to attend the Alumni Meet, as it will be a wonderful experience.
