July 31 2021

Governor Anandiben Patel advised the farmers to prepare 100% organic products. State Governor Anandiben Patel said this in an interaction program with the beneficiaries of Government of India s schemes organized in the auditorium of Gail village.

The Governor said that if the farmers do farming by taking information about the soil and the nutrients required in the soil for various crops, then the income of the farmers will increase. Said that half-finished organic product is not able to make its place in the market. Whereas 100% organic product easily makes its place in the market. He advised the farmers to do experiment based farming in place of traditional farming. Said that the production of wheat is more in the state. Hence the market for wheat gets reduced. If we grow vegetables along with wheat, then surely the farmers will get the market easily for their crop and will also get more profit. For this, the departmental officers should guide the farmers by setting targets.

The Governor interacted directly with the members of Farmers Producer Organization, Women Self Help Groups in the program which lasted for about one and a half hours. He inquired about the difficulties being faced by the members. He also directed the officers of the district to promote the products of the members of women self help groups. Said that women can play an important role in the self-reliance of women by taking forward self-help groups. He also addressed the adopted children infected with TB here. Nutritious food kits were also distributed to them.
