The Punjab Government is providing an incentive amount of Rs 1500 per acre to the farmers who are doing direct sowing of paddy during the year 2023-24.

Farmers can fill in their Aadhaar number by opening the link. The personal and bank information of the farmer is displayed as per the registration made in the grain purchase/e-marketing portal.

After that, the farmer has to give only the details of the land under his direct sowing. For example- District/ Tehsil-Sub Tehsil/ Village/ Khewat Number/ Khasra Number of the land by the farmer and the area under direct sowing (in Kanal/ Marla or Biga Viswa).

Farmers can edit/change their information till June 24, 2023.

The first verification of direct sowing of paddy will be done by visiting the fields of farmers from June 26 to July 15, 2023.
