Dengue Fever and its precautions

Dengue is a viral fever that is caused by the cutting of a mosquito called Aedes Ajpati.

• In coolers
• In water tanks
• In flower pots
• In the backside tray of refrigerators
• Broken bowls
• In tyres

What to do:

• We must empty the coolers and refrigeration trays and then dry them once a week.
• Do not let water flowing around the houses, flower pots and broken utensils etc.
• Properly cover the utensils and tanks filled with water
• Dengue spreading mosquito bites us in daytime, so wear the clothes that fully covers our body  
• In case of high fever, immediately go to nearby hospital / dispensary.

Common symptoms of dengue:

• Faster headaches and high fever
• Pain in the back and muscles of the joint
• Bleeding from the nose, mouth and gums when conditions get worse
