A new technique to grow Brinjal and Tomato on the same plant

ICAR-Indian Institute of Vegetable Research, Varanasi has developed an innovative technology to produce Brinjal and Tomato in the same plant through Grafting.

Brimato developed through grafting of brinjal Kashi Sandesh and tomato Kashi Aman has a capacity of yielding 2.45 kg of brinjal and 2.67 kg of tomato per plant.
