2 new varieties of dragon fruit prepared by PAU

After five years of continuous research experience from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, 2 varieties of dragon fruit (White Dragon-1 and Red Dragon-1) have been recommended for the farmers of Punjab. The average yield of White Dragon-1 (4th year): is 8.35 kg per pillar and that of Red Dragon-1 (4th year): is 8.75 kg per pillar. The average weight of one fruit is 200-250 grams. Farmers can get these types of fruits from the month of July from Punjab Agriculture University, Ludhiana.
