Tips for protecting animals from diseases

• For Animals above 1 year, cow dung test should be done twice a year i.e. before and after rainy season and they should be dewormed, if needed.

• Make proper arrangements to feed the animals with clean water and clean fodder.

• Be sure to get vaccinations against diseases such as foot-and-mouth disease, Diphtheria etc.

• It is very important to deworm a pregnant animal 6-8 weeks before delivery to ensure good milk supply throughout the gestation and a healthy baby production.

• Make sure to provide a solid floor in the shed so that excrement can drain properly
