Suitable time for direct seeding of Paddy

• Adopt the modified unique technique of direct sowing "direct sowing in the wet soil" in which the first water is planted 21 days after sowing.
  

• The appropriate time for sowing this is the first fortnight of June and use 8-10 kg of seed per acre for sowing.
  

• Use lucky seed drill for direct sowing which carries out sowing and spraying of herbicides simultaneously.
  

• For the prevention of root rot nematode in paddy seedlings, apply 40 grams of mustard cakes per square meter at the last time after sowing the seedlings 10 days before sowing.
