Suggestions for vaccination of animals against foot-and-mouth disease

Animals should be vaccinated against the foot-and-mouth disease and HS(Hemorrhagic Septicemia) immediately if they have not been vaccinated yet.

• Stop using fountains in the rainy season but keep the fans running.
• Use the recommended medicine on sheds and animals to control ticks.
• Keep the shed clean to prevent flies, and mosquitoes, you can use a mosquito net.
• In the event of an outbreak/illness (such as foot-and-mouth disease, or chronic illness) contact a veterinarian immediately.
• Feed the pregnant animals porridge. Do not give extra calcium 15 days before delivery.
