Suggestions for mushroom farmers

Procur wheat straw and store it at a dry place for composting to be started in September for button mushroom. Clean and disinfect growing space for laying of beds of paddy straw mushroom (summer variety). Wet the bundles (approx 1-1½ kg each) and lay beds mixed with spam as per recommended PAU technology. Continue watering twice a day on the beds and floors. Complete harvesting of crop in one month. Spawn the bags of milky mushroom after pretreatment of wheat straw by boiling. Case the spawn run bags of milky mushroom after 15-18 days, watering and harvest mushroom for next 30 days.
