Sowing of Summer season Moong

The optimum time for sowing of summer season Moong is from 20th March to 10th April. However, the sowing of Moong can be done till the third week of April.

Seed rate: 15 kg per acre seeds of summer season Moong variety SML 668 and 12 kg of seed per acre for SML 1827 and SML 832 is sufficient for sowing.

Method of Sowing: Row-to-row spacing should be 22.5 cm for the sowing of these crops. Sowing should be done with a drill at a depth of 4-6 cm.
