Some important tips for potato and tomato cultivation

POTATO: In the valleys, to control the blight disease in potato crop, make a 0.25% solution of Indofil-45 and spray it, irrigate and apply 50 kg urea/hectare to the standing crop. At the time of preparation of the field, apply 200 quintals of decomposed cow dung manure and also use chemical fertilizers on the last plowing as per availability and sow seeds at a distance of 15 cm by making bunds at a distance of 60 cm.

TOMATO: If seedlings of tomato are ready in the valley region then it should be transplanted as per recommendations for the region. In mid hilly regions, seeds of brinjal should be sown in the polyhouse or polynet. In the previously sown crop, weeding and irrigation should be done as per the requirement. To prevent the blight disease, make a solution of 0.25% Indofil-45 spray it.
