Prevention of yellow blight in wheat crop

Wheat(Milk Dough Stage): Apply light irrigation to the crop to protect it from the adverse effect of high temperatures. The farmers can also apply two sprays of 2% Potassium nitrate (13:0:45) by dissolving 4 kg potassium nitrate in 200 liters of water at boot leaf and anthesis stages or two sprays of salicylic acid by dissolving 15 grams salicylic acid in 450 ml of ethyl alcohol using 200 liters of water per acre at boot leaf and early milk stages to mitigate the effect of high temperature at grain filling and enhance the wheat yield.

Regularly survey the wheat crop for the occurrence of yellow rust. If symptoms appeared then spray Custodia/Caviet/Opera/Tilt/Stilt/Bumper/Shine/Markzole @0.1 % or Nativo @ 0.06 % after the weather clears up.
