Prevention of neck blast or rust disease on Basmati crop

RICE: For control of neck blast in basmati, spray 200 ml Amistar Top 325 SC or 500 g Indofil Z-78 in 200 litres of water per acre at maximum tillering and ear emergence stages.

• To manage rodent pests in rice crops, cover all the holes during the evening and next day place 10-10 gm bait of zinc phosphide inside these fresh holes at 6 inches depth. To get better results adopt this practice in the whole village at the same time. Use PAU-Leaf color chart for need-based urea application.
• The fields showing more than 5% dead hearts should be sprayed with20ml Fame 480SC (flubendiamide) or 170g Mortar 75SG (cartaphydrochloride) or 1 lt of Chlorpyriphos 20EC in 100 liters of water per acre.
• When 5 plant hoppers per hill float in water, spray 94 ml Pexalon 10SC (triflumezopyrim) or 80 g Osheen / Token 20 SG (dinotefuran) in 100 liters of water per acre.
