PAU experts' guidelines for growing mustard seasonally

Mustard: Hoe as necessary to control weeds in mustard, but avoid using chemical pesticides. 

• These days there is a problem of curling of mustard leaves, for which farmers are requested not to spray any weedicide.
• No weedicide is recommended for mustard, the shopkeeper or the vendor might advise you to use chemical weedicides but refrain from doing so. As a result, although mustard does not die, its growth is halted if chemical weedicides are used.
• To prevent dew/ mist, keep watering mustard, and cabbage mustard.
• Spray 250 grams of Ridomil Gold-45 dissolved in 100 liters of water and repeat at an interval of 20 days to protect late-sown mustard from white rust.
