Method for incorporating urea in Maize considering PAU Leaf Color Chart
- Apply 25 kg urea per acre at the time of sowing.
- After 21 days of sowing, start comparing the leaf color with the leaf color chart at 10-10 day intervals.
- If the color of six or more out of ten leaves is pale in comparison with the strip number 5 of the chart then apply 25 kg urea per acre.
