Dhingri mushroom cultivation time and method
Mushroom: Mushroom cultivation can be started from a room or a hut, so mushroom cultivation is a very profitable business for small or marginal farmers and agricultural labourers. makes it easier. The winter season is very suitable for button mushroom and Dhingri mushroom cultivation. October to March is suitable for its sowing, during which three crops of Dhingri can be harvested. About 600-900 grammes of Dhingri mushrooms can be harvested from one kilogramme of dry straw.
Dhingri Mushroom Cultivation Method: Soak wheat straw thoroughly with clean water for 24 hours.
After it reaches 70–75% moisture, let the excess water drain out. Sow wet straw in wax envelopes with 10% (dry straw) mushroom seed.
Tie the seed envelopes with apples and keep them in the mushroom house. Within about 20–25 days, the envelopes will develop a web of fungus.
Remove the waxy envelope and water with a fountain daily to maintain 80–85% humidity.
In a few days, the oyster-shaped mushrooms begin to sprout.
