Cultivation of Dhingri Mushroom

• From October to March three crops of Dhingri can be taken.
• Straw Preparation: To keep the moisture level between 65-68%, wet the straw for 10-20 hours on floor.
• Sowing: Use polythene bags of size 12 × 16 or 16 × 16 or 16 × 20 inches. Fill the bags with straw upto 3-4 inches and add some spawn (seed). Use 100 gram seed for 1 Kg straw. Fill the polythene bags upto ¾ in the same way.
• After 2-3 weeks Mushroom starts germinating.
• Harvesting: 500-600 grams of Dhingri could be harvested from 1 Kg of Straw.
