Control of termites in Sugarcane crop

To protect against termite attack, use manure, remove the first crop residues, roots, attacked shoots out of the field, and destroy them.

• In case of heavy attack, keep filling the empty spaces with cane setts.

• Irrigate the crop with plenty of water from time to time and remove the termites frequently.
