Control of diseases in vegetable crops
Vegetables: Harvest the cucurbits and other vegetables like Tomato, Chilli, Brinjal and Okra at regular intervals to get maximum yield. Irrigate crops regularly at intervals of 4-5 days to avoid water stress.
For the control of purple blotch in Onion, spray the crop with 300g Caviet or 600g of Indofil M-45 mixed with 200ml of Triton or linseed oil in 200 litres of water per acre as soon as first symptom of purple blotch appears in the crop. The spray should be repeated at 10 days intervals.
For managing fruit borer in tomatoes, Spray30ml Fame 480SL (flubendiamide) or 60 ml Coragen 18.5SC (chlorantraniliprole) or 200ml Indoxacarb 14.5SC in 100 litres of water per acre. Observe the waiting period of one day after spray of Coragen and 3 days after spray of Fame.
