Care of chickens to prevent diseases

Proper care of chickens, balanced diet, clean and ventilated house, and choosing a good breed greatly reduce the chances of disease. It is economically beneficial to implement prophylactic measures in chickens from the beginning for poultry because it is difficult to save chickens when infectious diseases occur. As soon as the chickens fall ill, it should be separated from the flock of healthy chickens and the person who takes care of sick chickens should also wash his hands thoroughly before going to healthy chickens. Pesticides should also be sprayed in the chicken's house from time to time.

Chickens are generally infected by smallpox, bloody diarrhea, Ranikhet, choreja, parasitic, and other nutritional diseases. To prevent this, vaccination and anti-parasitic medicines should be used from time to time. If symptoms of any disease appear, poultry farmers should get treatment only after consulting their nearest veterinarian.
