Care of animals in high temperatures

Animal Husbandry: Animals should be vaccinated for hemorrhagic septicemia and black quarter so that these diseases can be prevented. But it is equally important to keep a proper record of all the vaccines applied.

• Animals should be kept inside sheds and bathed 3-4 times with fresh water during summer days.
• In extreme heat when animals get uncomfortable, cold water should be poured and doctor should be consulted.
• If there is any wound on the animal body then cream should be applied so that flies could be kept away.
