Attention to cleanliness of milk and avoiding diseases

Animal Husbandry: Clean milk maintains its quality and does not get deteriorated for a long time. So taking precautions at a dairy farm for clean milk production is very essential.

  • This also prevents the occurrence of diseases like typhoid fever, scarlet fever, diphtheria, and tuberculosis which can spread through soiled milk.
  • In order to prevent contamination of milk, keeping the dairy animal clean (especially its udder), personal hygiene of the milker, disinfecting the place where milking is done and also clean utensils to hold milk is a must.
