Animal Husbandry: Animals should be protected from ticks, lice and flies as they spread many other diseases along with sucking blood.

Precautions should be taken while applying medicine on animals or spraying them inside the shed. If there is a wound on the skin of the animal, do not apply the medicine there. Ticks often hide at places like folds of neck, around udder, and below the tail, so medicine should be carefully applied at these places.. While spraying inside the shed, cover the scrapes and put a cover on the mouths of the animals so that they do not lick the medicine.
