All the farmers are advised to keep regular checks at plants in the orchards

FRUITS- Litchi and pear require regular irrigations for proper fruit development and it reduces fruit cracking in Litchi.

• Regularly remove the suckers arising from the rootstock portion of the newly planted fruit plants and these plants should be supported with sticks to keep them erect.
• Apply white wash mixture on the main trunks of fruit trees to protect them from intense solar radiations.
• Apply first split of inorganic fertilizers in guava orchards as per recommendations as soon as possible, if not done earlier.
