PIG- As there is forecast of rain in few isolated places, properly check the roof the shed and repair damaged parts. In current weather condition, vaccination of animal against FMD is advised under vet supervision. Regularly replace the bedding materials and provide additional dry bedding materials. Keep the shed clean and dry. Always cover the shed with sack cloth or jute bags during night hours.

CHICKEN- Take extra care of your poultry to keep them disease free. Avoid procuring new birds from outside without proper advice of the concerned department. Always add multivitamin containing vitamin C in poultry feed to increase immunity against seasonal diseases which is very common in current weather. Check the drainage around the poultry shed and maintain proper drainage to avoid water stagnation.
