Advisory related to Peas, Mustard and Rice for the upcoming days

FIELD PEA- Crop is mainly in flowering stage & pod development stage. Maintain proper drainage in the field and avoid water stagnation. Do not apply any insecticide or manure in the field. 

MUSTARD- Crop is mainly in active flowering stage/pod development stage. In view of forecast of rain, maintain proper drainage in the field to avoid water stagnation. In present weather, aphid may attack the crop, so keep constant vigil of the crop and set up yellow sticky trap to monitor aphid population. Destroy the affected parts along with aphid population in the initial stage.

RICE- The late sown crop is now in maturity and harvesting stage. Complete harvesting during clear/dry days. Properly dry the crop in sunlight before storage. Avoid keeping the harvested crop in the field during night.
