Keeping in view of threat of Corona (COVID-19) spread farmers are advised to follow the government guidelines, use mask ensure hand washing with soap at reasonable interval during all agricultural operation in crops and field. Weeding and hoeing should be done in vegetables. Preparation of seed bed should be done for transplanting of chilli, brinjal and tomato for Rabi season.

Wheat- Current mean temperature is around 200C which are suitable for sowing of wheat. So farmers are advised to start the sowing of wheat. Improved varieties:- Raj-4238, Raj- 4079, MP-3288, HI- 8713, DBW- 110 and Raj-4220. Seed rate: - 150 kg seed per ha. Seed treatment with chlorpyriphos 20EC @ 4 ml per kg seed before sowing in the fields having perennial problem of termite infestation. Recommended dose of fertilizer for N:P:K is 120, 40 and 30 kg / ha. Application of 25 kg ZnSO4 should be applied at sowing time with other fertilizers.

Barley- Current mean temperature is around 200C which are suitable for sowing of barley. So farmers are advised to start the sowing of barley. Improved varieties:- RD-2788, RD-2794 and RD2715. Seed rate: - 130 kg seed per ha. Seed treatment withchlorpyriphos 20EC @ 4 ml per kg seed before sowing in the fields having perennial problem of termite infestation. Recommended dose of fertilizer for N:P:K is 60, 30 and 20 kg / ha.

Mustard- Dusting of Carbaryl 5% W.P. @ 20-25 kg/ha should be done for the control of mustard sawfly.

Gram- Dusting of Quinalphos 1.5 % W.P. @ 25 kg/ha should be done for the control of cutworm in gram.
