Advisory for farmers cultivating Maize and Ginger

MAIZE- Harvest the green cob and use crop as fodder, where the crop is failed due to water lodging condition. In late sown maize, Foliar spray of Emamectin Benzoate 5 SG @ 0.4 g/l should be done for the control of Fall Army Worm in maize. Spray should be done in evening time and when sky is clear.

GINGER- For the control of fungal and bacterial soft rot disease in standing ginger crops drenching of solution of ridomil MZ 72 @ 4 g per liter of water + streptocycline @ 1 gram per 3 liters of water.
