Advisory for farmers cultivating Horse Gram and Soybean crops

HORSE GRAM- When the short duration variety of horse gram is ready, harvest it by keeping in mind the weather forecast and keep monitoring the late maturing crops and if there is a problem of disease or pest in the species, spray chemicals as per the recommendation in clear weather.

SOYABEAN- Keep monitoring the crop. To control the caterpillar pest and stem borer, spraying of chlorantraniliprole 18.5 SC @ 150ml /700-800 liters of water per hectare should be done. Spraying should be done in clear weather.
