A high-yielding variety of fodder Oat: OL 16

  • It is a dual-type variety for irrigated areas of Punjab. 
  • It has good fodder, grain, and flour quality as well. 
  • Its first cut for fodder can be taken at 65-70 days after sowing.
  • Its regenerated crop, upon maturity, gives an average of 7.6 quintals per acre of grain yield.
  • Average Yield: 90.0 quintals of green fodder per acre.
