Dr. D. K. Singh successfully completed graduation, post-graduation and doctorate degrees from Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar and served many organizations since 1999. currently, he is working as Professor & Head, Livestock Production Management , Veterinary College, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture Meerut (SVPUA ). Dr. D.K. Singh is also having the quality publication including research articles, popular articles, books, book chapters, technical bulletin and farmer’s oriented literature like leaflet, folder etc on various species of livestock particularly on poultry production. He has published 3 International and 17 National Research Articles till date. Dr D.K. Singh has also published 3 Books, 17 Book Chapters, 2 Technical Bulletins and 49 Popular articles/Folders/Leaflets. He is associated life member of various professional societies in the field of livestock production. He has also handled numerous adhoc research projects funded by outside funding agencies as Principal Investigator and/or Co-Principal Investigator. Students and farming community of the region are being benefitted by providing technical knowhow on various aspects of poultry production through various approaches. In addition to this, he is having working experience with chicken breeds/strains like Kadaknath, Aseel, Naked Neck, Frizzle Fowl, Chabro, RIR, Vanraja, Barred Plymouth Rock, Kuroiler, commercial broiler and layer since a long time.
