Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Dr. Amit Nain is currently serving as a veterinary officer at Abohar, Fazilka, Punjab. Along with his job, he is also running a goat farm, named Green Goat Farm at Abohar from last 3 years. Dr. Amit started this goat farm only with 20 goats. But with the passage of time, the number of goats increased. Presently, he has 250 goats of Beetal and Jamunapari breed in his farm. Here, health and growth of each and every goat is monitored on daily basis, providing vaccination and medicines to prevent from known diseases. A number of farmers visit his farm to get information about goat farming and get inspired for the same.
