Karamjit Singh is serving as the Assistant Director of Fisheries, Fatehgarh Sahib. Previously, he joined the fishery department in the year of 1998 as a fishery officer with a relative experience of 24 years in fishery development, management, extension & processing. He took in-house training from the central institute of fishery education in Mumbai. He previously worked extensively with ATMA in Sangrur, completing notable projects such as shrimp farming development, including the first shrimp trial in Ratt khera village in 2016. In addition, he founded and established a fish feed mill, an aquatic animal health laboratory, and an environmental management laboratory.
