In 1985, Dr. Swaran Singh Mann joined Horticulture Department Punjab as Horticulture Inspector. Then in 1989, he switched into the banking sector as Agriculture Field Officer. In 1992, again Dr. Mann joined Horticulture department as Horticulture Development Officer (HDO). In 2015, he got promoted as Assistant Director Horticulture and from 2019 onwards, he is serving the department as Deputy Director Horticulture of Patiala District. He is also performing the role of Nodal Officer of Guava District (Patiala) of Punjab State.
