Dr. Sachin Gupta is working as an Associate Professor in Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, Jammu since 2017 before which he was an Assistant Professor in the same University. He always was a meritorious student and was awarded Gold medal in his educational institutions at Doctorate, Post Graduate and Graduate levels. He is a member of Editorial Board of Indian Phytlopathology, Asia Pacific Journal of Food Safety and Security. A reviewer of Indian Phytopathology, Journal of Mycology and Plant Pathology. He was also the organizing secretary of National Symposium on ‘Emerging Trends in Plant Pathology’ organized at Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agri. Sciences & Technology of Jammu (India) in December 2012. He has been attending specialised training at international levels such as Institute of Edible Fungi, Shanghai Academy of Agricultural Sciences, China, Ministry of Agriculture & Rural Development, Volcani Campus, Israel, PTC+ Ede, the Netherlands. He has written various Research papers, Articles, Book chapters in the field of Plant diseases, Agricultural Research and Biotechnology.
