Dr. Jaspal Singh joined the Department of Horticulture as Horticulture Inspector in 1986. In 2015, he got promoted as Assistant Director Horticulture, Abohar, and then in May 2019 as Deputy Director Horticulture, Abohar. From 2021 onwards, he is serving the Horticulture Department as Joint Director Punjab. During his tenure, he disseminated knowledge related to government schemes to farmers by working in different geographical locations of Punjab State. With his extensive experience in Horticulture, he has helped many farmers from the selection of land to establish and take care of the orchard and Mushroom, vegetables and spices farming, and adopting crop diversification.
